CERVOS BMA - Long Access
The CER-LA device incorporates patented technology that limits peripheral blood dilution and eliminates the need for centrifugation. Its length makes it ergonomically friendly for accessing deeper locations needed for minimally invasive spine procedures. The k-wire stylet allows for two methods of access. First, the k-wire adapter allows the needle to be advanced using a mallet. Second, the k-wire is used with standard operating room drills, both manual and power. This device is often used in conjunction with the CER-BN-116 bone dowel harvesting device and CF-G5 bone graft granules. Combining marrow aspirate with autogenous bone and a graft extender allows clinicians to fill boney defects using the patient’s own cells as the engine for bone healing. The combination of all three provide cells, signals and a scaffold; the building blocks for repairing bone.
